Six Months Old Today!!!

Snow?!!

Last night I went out for a piddle and there was this weird stuff falling from the sky. It didn't taste like anything, it was just cold and kept hitting my nose. Mom said it was snow and that there would be a lot more of it soon. So far I'm not impressed ... chasing leaves and digging holes seems like way more fun than freezing my butt off and getting wet.

Afternoon Outing

Rainy Day Blues

It rained all day, but I kept amused ... I chased Merlin and he chased me, I dug a big hole near the tree outside and then sat in it ... and the best part of all I got all muddy ... mom was not amused ::big puppy snicker::

In The Yard

It's so nice out now & I have my big brother Merlin to play with, 'cause he's finally decided I might be fun. I don't play with my big, big brother Zar right now, 'cause he scares me and always catches me when I run. Mom took her camera outside to try and catch us in the act, but we move way too fast for her. Anyway, the weather is cooler, the hole sites I'm digging are getting bigger (and Merlin is helping me), and I'm having fun!

School Days & Teething

Not fair! Mom's making me go to school .... I have to learn to walk beside her instead of walking her. I have to sit when she says, instead of running off. I even have to lay on the floor or ground and stay there until she says I can get up, so I just go to sleep until she gets bored...

I'm also teething and she won't even let me chew the rug ... or pillows ... or door frames ... or couch ... or blankets ... or table legs...or magazines ... or toilet paper ... I can't even chew on the cat .... she even threw my favorite toy away just because I ripped it's head off ...MOM'S A PARTY POOPER!!!

Chowing Down

Mom insists I wear this silly thing on my head. I've given up the fight ... I finally realized it's the only way she'll put the bowl down so that I can eat! Humans, what we have to do to keep them amused!

Farran Park

We went to Farran Park in Ontario today. There was another big dog show and I got to go with my cousin Bailey. We met another afghan there. Her name was Bianca, but I don't think she liked me very much 'cause she kept showing me her teeth, so I stayed away. We stayed a long time and I had to take a long nap after I got home. Here's a picture taken today, oh and I turned 4 months old on the 3rd...I'm growing !!

Road Trip

I went with mom to Long Sault, Ontario to a dog show. Auntie Janice brought my pal, Indy, so I had company.

We saw lots of dogs ... some even barked at me, so I stayed clear of them! We did some walking, then more walking, then even more walking! Boy humans sure can walk.

This is my brother Merlin's cousin, Chablis, she was in the obedience class and did really well. I'm not sure I could be that good, but winning a ribbon would be neat ... something new to chew on!




Then we went down by the water. It looked like it might be fun to go in, but mom said it was too dirty, so Indy and I were not allowed to play in it. We did get our pictures taken though.

Hot, hot, hot...

It's too hot to do zoomies, stay outside and play with my toys, or chase my brother's...I'm waiting for cooler weather, then watch out!

Dog days...

I was sick for a few days. I guess it was something I ate. I can't decide if it was the stuffed chair or the clumps of grass the lawnmower man left behind. Whatever it was, it sure made my tummy feel bad! Mom took me to the vet and they gave me medicine and everything ... yuck! I am feeling better now, but the weather has been so hot I don't even feel like doing zoomies around the yard.

Didn't do much all day 'cause it was so hot and muggy! Mom took pictures of me, here's one of them...

Tonight we went to Bailey's house and we played a bit, but got tired so just flaked out. Mom and Dad ate supper with Bailey's parents, then Bailey & I got to go for a walk. I hope it rains soon 'cause I don't even feel like digging holes right now.

My Uncle Storm

This is my uncle Tokabout Thunder and Lightning (aka "Storm"). He originally came from Tokabout Afghans & he lives in Ontario (Canada). Apparently it took 3 days to shoot the commercial, but he sure looks good! My dad, Leo, is in commercials too!

Williamstown Fair

We just got back from a fair in Williamstown. My little poodle friend "Indy" came too and we got to meet lots of people, see dogs and horses, as well as strange looking animals like lama's, alpaca's, goats and I even met a baby cow (they have big wet noses) and sheep. I'm off to have my nap now. Oh and Mom forgot to bring her camera ... again!

My first Bath!

Mom took me to play with my poodle friends yesterday, but when we came home she said I was too dirty to be in the house, so she gave me a bath! The only good thing about it was that I left a nice little sand pit in the tub for her to clean up. After I dried off and was all fluffy again, I went outside and dug a big hole in the lawn.

Last night was the first time I slept through the night. Mom was impressed, so she said she was going to take me somewhere special today. I don't know where yet, but I'll get back to you later and tell you all about it...

Hot Day

It was hot today, so I didn't do much. I did go visit my poodle friends and also a friend of mom's. I waded in a pool, played and sat around.

Weekend Fun

I went with my brother, Merlin, to friend's of mom's over the weekend. I got to run in a big field with an Irish Wolfhound and a Labrador. I spent most of my time chasing Merlin. There were lots of horses there too, but I stayed away from them. Mom forgot to bring her camera, so she didn't have any pictures for me to post. Oh well....

I'm also getting pretty good at letting mom know when I have to go potty. I go to the front door and whine.

6 weeks to 12 weeks

Buried my Bone

Mom gave me a bone to chew on and then I buried it in the lawn to save for later. Mom found it and threw it away. She said she'd give me another one, but I want my old one back. It was all covered with dirt and stuff and way more fun to chew on than a clean one .... I'm not happy...

What's Been Happening Lately

I had to go to the vet the other day and get my 2nd needles. It wasn't too bad, but I didn't like my nails clipped so I made lots of noise to make sure everyone knew I wasn't amused!

I went the other day to a friend of my mom's. She has two poodle puppies the same age as me. They were fun to play with, and we even got to dig holes!

Zar and Merlin both play with me now, but they have not caught me yet :)

My New Home

I decided to write my own blog 'cause I have a lot to say!

I came to my new home from Ontario to Quebec and have two new brothers, Zar and Merlin. Of course they don't look like me, but they are fun to play with.
